Welcoming Jenny Williams and Joseph Jones as new Towner Trustees

Following our recent open recruitment, we are delighted to welcome two new Towner Trustees.

Jenny Williams

Jenny lives in Eastbourne and is currently Director of Revoluton, Luton’s ACE funded Creative People and Places project. She is also Founding Director of Take the Space set up in 2006 as a creative production hub for Black and multi-ethnic talent; as well as an Heritage Fund Consultant on the Register of Support Services (ROSS) supporting Heritage Fund supported projects around the country.

Prior to this, Jenny held numerous senior positions within the arts and public sectors including Head of Diversity, Arts Council England, National Office; Cultural Diversity Officer, Arts Council England South East; Clore Fellow 2007-9; Education and Community Director The Tricycle; and Arts Development lead for Mid Sussex District and Wandsworth Borough Councils; as well as her first job in the arts sector as Fundraising Officer for English Touring Opera.

Joseph Jones

Joseph is an artist and lecturer based in East Sussex, and is currently programme leader in Art & Contemporary Craft at West Dean College, having previously taught at the University of the Arts London and Brighton University. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art, Joseph has exhibited his paintings internationally and his work is held in both public and private collections.
