Due to the upcoming snap general election, Towner Art Gallery is to postpone the launch of BRINK: Caroline Lucas curates the Towner Collection. The exhibition will now open to the public on Saturday 14 December 2019 and running until 10 May 2020. A press view will take place on Monday 16 December 2019.

We are thrilled to have Caroline Lucas curate this special exhibition, which focuses on her commitment to the environment and love of living in Sussex. Towner has made a decision, following guidance from the Charity Commission and observing rules around Purdah, that BRINK will now open once the UK general election period is over.

Towner has consulted with trustees and Caroline Lucas, who are all fully supportive of this decision.

The Ravilious Gallery and Collection Library will reopen on 23 November as planned, with a new display of works by Eric Ravilious, including a series of water colours focussing on Sussex. This exhibition can be seen alongside David Nash: 200 Seasons, a major show of works by David Nash currently on display at Towner.
