First Thursdays

Join us on the first Thursday of every month as we throw open our doors for a free twilight gallery experience, alongside talks, live music, film and networking. Our café will be open and serving a delicious menu of drinks and light snacks too – why not make a night of it?

On Thursday 7 November, you can experience 200 Seasons, one of the largest and most ambitious exhibitions of David Nash’s work ever mounted, and catch TEN our tenth anniversary exhibition, before it closes on Sunday 10 November.

In our Collection Library, see Downland Gloaming, a selection of photographs by Allan Grainger, and meet the photographer himself.

From 7.30pm we will have live music from KING SIZE SLIM, known for the warm tones of his resonator guitar and his powerful and direct vocal style.

In the Towner Cinema we’re showing Downton Abbey at 4.30pm, and the Apocalypse Now: Final Cut, at 7.00pm.

The exhibitions will be open until 8.00pm, and the café bar will remain open until 9.00pm with music until 8.45pm.
