The car park closest to Towner is currently closed due to the construction work relating to the council’s Devonshire Park Development and is likely to remain closed until 2018.
Parking in the pay & display Devonshire Park Car Park on College Rd (in front of the tennis centre) remains available during the development works but due to reduced numbers of spaces and extra demand from site vehicles there are often limited spaces available.
Furthermore, this car park will be closed from 8 June for the Aegon International Eastbourne Tennis until after the end of the Championships on 1 July. There will also be road closures and traffic restrictions during this period.
For your convenience, we would recommend that visitors travel by alternative means of transport wherever possible. Click here for full details of how to get to Towner car-free from wherever you are.
Both free and metered on street parking is available on the streets surrounding Towner or consider alternative pay and display car parks at Trinity Place, Junction Road, Hyde Gardens and Eastbourne Railway Station.
Vehicles can temporarily stop and drop off passengers to the side of Towner building on College Road (double yellow lines, so parking is not possible).
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the construction work, and continue to work with the contractors to minimise disruption to your visit
