The car park closest to Towner is currently closed due to the construction work relating to the council’s Devonshire Park Development and is likely to remain closed until 2018.
Parking in the pay & display Devonshire Park Car Park on College Rd (in front of the tennis centre) remains available during the development works (except from 19 – 21 November – see above) but due to reduced numbers of spaces and extra demand from site vehicles there are often limited spaces available.
Vehicles can temporarily stop and drop off passengers to the side of Towner building on College Road (double yellow lines, so parking is not possible).
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the construction work, and continue to work with the contractors to minimise disruption to your visit
The Devonshire Park Hotel is conveniently located on Carlisle Road, across the street from Towner. Visit devonshire-park-hotel.co.uk for further information.
