Bring the family to Towner this summer for fun art workshops, where you and your little ones can get your hands dirty playing with paint, sculpture, printmaking and more, while your teens can get involved with our workshops and enjoy our exhibitions.

Our popular Tiny Towner Workshops for ages 2-5 years are back! These creative facilitated sessions are led by staff from Towner, Eastbourne Library and Eastbourne Children’s Centre. Starting Thursday 10 September, until March 2016. Only £3 per child, adults free.

Our artist educators are running a special series of workshops inspired by our William Gear abstract art exhibition.

For 5-7 year olds, we have Paint and Pattern Workshop with artist Hermione Allsopp (29 July) and Adventure into the Abstract Workshop with artist Annis Joslin (19 August).

For 8-11 year olds, we have Flowing Forms sculpture workshop with artist Steven Follen (30 July) and Make a Mini Art Gallery Workshop with artist Elizabeth Doak (20 August).

These workshops are only £5 per session and run 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.

We also have 3 exciting photography courses for 13-19 year olds: What’s the Story? Photography workshop with artist Annis Joslin (4 August), Photography skills and ideas workshop with Elizabeth Doak (5 August) and Me Myself and I: Self Image photography workshop with Elizabeth Doak (6 August). These sessions all run 1-5pm and are £5 each.
