Annis Joslin is an artist and filmmaker with a dual commitment to educational work, participatory arts practice and creative output. She makes films and documentaries for galleries, museums and non-gallery sites and situations. Central to her approach is creating encounters and making connections with communities, through conversations and interventions.
What’s the Story? photography workshop with artist Annis Joslin
Explore the different ways artists use photography to suggest a story in the East Sussex Open 2015.
Through a series of creative photographic tasks, participants will make their own set of images, explore the different roles of photographer, picture editor and curator and make a mini exhibition in the Art Box by the end of the session.

ABOUT ANNIS JOSLIN
She has worked with The British Museum, The Women’s Library, The National Trust, Glyndebourne, Photoworks, Brighton Photo Biennial and Lighthouse, Brighton. She also works regularly with the nationally celebrated Project Artworks, engaging with people with complex needs in a range of experimental art projects most recently at FACT, Liverpool, MK Gallery, Milton Keynes.
