Time lapse till rolls
Till Rolls by Jill Townsley is a large floor-based installation in our Compulsive, Obsessive, Repetitive
exhibition. It consists of 9,375 paper rolls, each extruded from its centre to form vertical cones of
varying height (up to 12ft). The result is an undulating sculpture, like a giant three-dimensional graph.
The installation of this work took four full days, with around 20 volunteers working in shifts.
