This spring, bring the family to Towner and enjoy three floors of fun. Kids love riding in our oversized lift to exhibitions, and our cafe boasts spectacular views of the South Downs. Best of all, entry is free.

From 6-10 April, we’re running Art Relay! Childrens’ Workshops. This is your chance to be part of a special installation that grows each day. Think of it like an Olympic relay race: each day’s art works are handed on to the next day’s group!

The starting point is a free Bank Holiday drop-in for families on 6 April making optical devices to explore different ways of looking at the gallery.

From Tuesday to Friday, book into a workshop sessions to work with artists and gradually create the installation. Workshops include collage with cameras, iPads, and projection, working in 3D to make low relief and giant constructions – by Friday use art works as backdrops for your own photographs. All work will be exhibited on 11 April.

Children can complete a Discover or Explore Arts Award by attending four sessions.
