Bluemonkeynet artist network
Bluemonkeynet is an artist network run by artists for artists, in partnership with Towner and supported by Arts Council England. Bluemonkeynet aims to provide opportunities for professional and creative development for East Sussex artists. We want to help make our arts community strong and vibrant, sustainable and productive.
We have just launched two new peer review opportunities for artists thanks to an Arts Council England Grants for the Arts!
Bluemonkeynet runs regular monthly events aimed at promoting the exchange of ideas, information, skills and knowledge between artists, curators and arts organisers.
As well as networking, we offer:
- talks by visiting artists and arts professionals
- visits to galleries and other arts events
- special sessions tailored to the specific needs and requests of members –
such as peer review, reading groups and presentations of work.

and are happy to share our unique resources for the benefit of local artists.
Joining Bluemonkeynet
Bluemonkeynet is a membership organisation run by artists from Blue Monkey Studios, Eastbourne.
The network is open to all artists. Membership of the network costs just £25 per year, and includes
free entry to most network events, plus regular news of selected exhibition and artists’ development
opportunities. We hope that you will join us.
