East Sussex Open

Towner holds a selected open submission exhibition in April each year, to coincide with the
Eastbourne Festival. Submissions are invited from artists living or working in the East Sussex
region, including Brighton and Hove.

Applications for the East Sussex Open 2014 will open later this year – join our mailing list or
check back here for details.

 
Artist professional development

Towner is pleased to be a partner in bluemonkeynet – a new artist network, run by artists for artists.  Bluemonkeynet aims to provide opportunities for professional and creative development for East Sussex artists.  Click on the logo to find out more.

Café Projects

Artists based in the East Sussex region can apply for a Café Project: a selling exhibition of 4-6
works displayed in our café.

Please email your CV and 4 small jpegs (not more than 2Mb in total) to towner@eastbourne.gov.uk
for consideration.
 

Unsolicited proposals

Towner’s exhibitions and events are programmed up to three years in advance on the invitation
of the Director and Senior Management Team who work closely with artists to develop and realise
the production of exhibitions and events. For this reason we do not accept unsolicited proposals
and cannot cover costs to return proposals if they are submitted.
