Halloween & Big Draw Come to Towner Art Gallery this October

Draw using all your senses with our free activities for children and families, sign up for a workshop or come to our spooky late opening Hallowe’en event if you dare!
Get ready for Halloween with our artist educator-run workshops, from Spooky Windows (SOLD OUT) with artist Annis Joslin (Wed 28 Oct, ages 5-7) to Haunting Hallowe’en Shadow Show with artist Lindsey Smith (Fri 30 Oct, ages 8-11) – £5 per session, 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.
On Saturday 31 October, build yourself a scribbling machine and help create a big mechanical drawing with Tech Resort’s free workshop, Build your own scribbling machine from 10.30am-12.30pm (suitable for 3+years).
You can also bring your kids to a free drop in Drawing in the Dark, from 2-4pm & 5-7pm, which will let you doodle, draw, and paint a picture with light.
Join us on Halloween for a free entry party Tricks ‘n’ Treats at Towner on Sat 31 October from 5-7pm, where young ghouls and their families can come and play. Come dressed in your spookiest outfit and have a ghostly portrait taken. Go on a torchlight tour of the gallery. Listen to scary tales and lots more! Spooky snacks by Urban Ground. Activities are either free or £1. Buy a set of 5 tokens to spend – only £5 – book online or buy on the night.
